Claire and I spent the weekend in Rishikesh, a New Agey town on the banks of the sacred Ganga River (the Ganges to you non-Indian folk.) This fortuitous position is said to lend a spiritually cleansing quality to Rishikesh, and many pilgrims come to the town and nearby Hardiwar in order to bathe in the river, collect water for their home's temples, and take part in many of the yoga classes and ayurvedic treatments available. We did two of these three things...because, come on, I'm not about to do yoga...
